    A total renovation of an old home, we wanted to bring this old home back to life. The home had been built as a cabin orginally, and had been added to at least 3 times. This created its own challenges as the ups and downs and interesting building techniqies of each renovation.

    The livingroom and original part of the home was constructed of 2x8 tongue and groove walls with no insulation to speak of. We removed all the flooring, and used ISO board insulation on the walls creating an R value of about 25, and a much better air barrier as well.

    The other major renovatoion of this house was the master bedroom and bathroom. This was gutted to the studs and created an integral bedroom bathroom. A lot brighter and more functional.

    The owner is enjoying a much brighter liveable home and lower energy bills as well.
